BioFor two years I did all my weaving in the CC. While working on my last project on those looms, the Center's pottery instructor, a Methodist minister who was teaching highschool kids about clay out on the porch, stopped by and told me that I had been weaving so ferociously that he thought a loud raccoon was loose in the building.
This is the same man who told me two years ago that the reason the grains in raku clay ripped the sides of my hands open against the wheel was that I had a 'strong will,' thus teaching me something about myself I never would have guessed on my own.
